Cultural Environment: Culture of Malaysia is dominated by Malaya group that contributes largest share in the population of this country about 50.4%. Along with this, Chinese are in 23.7%, Indigenous groups are in 11% population, Indians are in 7.1% and others are present in 7.8% (The World Factbook). Furthermore, Muslims, Portuguese etc also form the Malaysian population. All these people live in caring cultural harmony. Official language in Malaysia is Bahasa Malaysia. Apart from this, English, Chinese, Telugu, Malayalam, Thai, Punjabi and Tamil are other languages that are used in Malaysia by different groups. In contrast to this, in the USA, the national language is English. Apart from this, other are Spanish, Indo-European, Asia and Pacific Island and other languages are also followed in the USA (The World Factbook). In USA, whites are 79.97%, blacks are 12.85%, Asians are 4.43%, Amerindian and Alaska natives are .97%, native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander are .18% and two or more races are 1.61%.   According to the cultural dimensions of Hofestede, power distance score of Malaysia is high, which states that social inequality is higher in this country. In contrast, PI score of USA is low that shows social inequality is low in the USA. Extent of Individualism is high in USA, but low in Malaysia (Reisinger, 2012). It shows that people in USA are concerned with self and take responsibility of their own failures or success. Furthermore, USA culture is high context communication, while Malaysian culture is low context communication (Piepenburg, 2011). In contrast to this, in Malaysia, people are concerned with others and believe in social relation, sharing material and non material resources etc. Score of masculinity is high in USA culture, but medium in Malaysian culture. It reflects that in USA, money assertiveness, success and competition are in dominance. On the other hand, in Malaysia, personal relationship, quality for life and care for others are preferred by the people.  

Ethnic Environment: Malaya is the largest ethnic group of Malaysia. In contrast to this, in the USA, protestant are the largest ethnic group. In Malaysia, Muslims present in 60.4%, Buddhist in 19.2%, Christian 9.1%, Hindu 6.1%, Taosim, Confucianism, and other Chinese groups are present in 2.6%, unknown in 1.5% and none make up .8% population (The World Factbook). On the other hand, in USA, protestant (51.3%), Roman Catholic (23.9%), Mormon (1.7%), Christian (1.6%), Jewish (1.7%), Buddhist (.7%), and Muslim (.6%), other unspecified (2.5%); unaffiliated (12.1%) and none (4%) are the ethnic and religious groups live. In USA, trust is considered as the key factor of business ethics to avoid scandals. In contrast to this, in Malaysia, personal relationships and belongings are considered importantly for business agreements (Needle, 2010). Corporate code of ethics is strongly followed in the USA by companies to maintain ethical practices as compared to companies in Malaysia (Flynn, 2008).
